As a member of the Software and Algorithm Team within the Advanced Imaging Group of Exosens, you will play a key role in innovating our software portfolio.
Your main responsibility as a Senior Software Engineer is to develop tools and algorithms that enable our customers to fully exploit the capabilities of our cameras and seamlessly deploy and integrate our products into their environments.
Your challenge will be to find the optimal balance between ease of use and access to advanced camera functionality, meeting the needs of a wide range of demanding professional customers.
You take ownership of your projects, work independently, seek input when needed, strive for the highest standards, and communicate your decisions effectively.
Your responsibilities include
Camera support and integration
Analyse, define, implement, test, optimize, deploy, document, and maintain software for:
- Camera protocols
- Image processing algorithm prototypes
- Recording and viewing software
Resource-constrained AI inference for image processing
Support and implement infrastructure for:
- Data cleaning and preprocessing
- Training and optimizing neural networks
- Integrating off-the-shelf and proprietary pre-trained models
- Defining intuitive user workflows
Your experience
- Master's degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in software development
- Expert in C++, C, Python, CMake, version control, CI/CD, and regression testing
- Cross-platform development for Windows, Linux, and Linux ARM on edge devices
- Proven track record of designing maintainable software architectures and customer-facing APIs
- Hands-on experience with neural network inference frameworks (e.g., NVIDIA CUDA/TensorRT, Neural Processing SDK, or similar) is a strong asset
