VS17 CAM VIS-SWIR

The Exosens Imaging VS17 CAM is the complete, housed version of the VS17 Series. Unlike the OEM camera core, it combines the sensor, processing electronics, cooling, interfaces and C-mount within an enclosed camera body. It is designed for users who need a complete VIS-SWIR camera that can be connected to an industrial, scientific or laboratory imaging system without developing a dedicated housing.

The camera uses a CQD-based sensor covering the visible and short-wave infrared spectrum from 400 to 1700 nm. It provides a VGA resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, a High Dynamic Range of 120 dB and optical power measurement capability. Integrated image processing includes non-uniformity correction, linearisation and defect pixel correction.

The VS17 CAM is available with GigE or SDI connectivity. The GigE configuration supports GigE Vision, GenICam compatibility and full VGA imaging at up to 400 fps. The SDI configuration supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI output, with standard NTSC, PAL, 720p and 1080p video formats and frame rates of up to 60 fps.

This choice of interfaces allows users to select a high-speed machine-vision configuration or a standard video-output configuration according to their system requirements. The complete housing and full-thread C-mount make the VS17 CAM suitable for inspection, measurement, monitoring and research applications.
