Scintitron is an advanced detection platform that converts incoming ions into secondary electrons, which are then directed onto a scintillating screen. The screen emits photons that are captured by a photon sensor, generating an electrical signal. This design decouples the ion input from the electrical output, enabling seamless dual-mode operation for both positive and negative ions.
