Device-Alab becomes Photonis Infrared France

Device-Alab is a 13-year-old company specialized in the design, engineering and production of electronic subsystems and embedded high-performance solutions. It focuses particularly on infrared cameras and will, from now on, be called Photonis Infrared France and sell its products under the brand Xenics 

 

Based in Grenoble (France), Device-Alab joined Photonis Group in March 2021. The company will keep developing its innovative products on its own industrial site in Grenoble. All Device-Alab products will be branded with Xenics brand, in order to propose to the customers a consistent infrared product portfolio. 


Those rebranding changes will be effective as of June the 13th. The entire management team, engineers, and experts, who have consistently contributed to the success of Device-Alab solutions, will continue with the valuable work they have carried out to date to serve the customers with excellent products and renowned support.

 

“Following Xenics integration last December, this evolution will strengthen our focus infrared market segments, providing an even more complete product range and professional pre and after-sales services, covering both defense and industrial applications” says Paul Ryckaert, Executive General Manager of Advanced Imaging Division at Photonis Group.

This merging process is a logical evolution in the development of Photonis Group that has entered a phase of expansion and consolidation of its leadership in innovative imaging and detection solutions all over the electromagnetic and optical spectrum. 

 

Xenics (Belgium), joined the group since end of 2022 while Photonis has announced recently agreements to have Telops (Canada) and Proxivision (Germany) further join, enhancing all together technological development, innovation, competitiveness, efficiency, production capacity and reactivity in customer service. Some of these transactions are expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
