Night Vision Simulator Helper
HOW TO USE THE SIMULATOR
This simulator aims to show you the main difference of performance through all PHOTONIS product range.
Move your mouse or use your finger over to browse the scene with the reticule.
You can discover some interactive zones where to click on for detail.
Those zones are identified by brackets.
You should scan the full scene to get them all.
Use the arrows or move to the edge of the scene with the reticule to scroll left or right.
To switch between scenes, products or options, use the setting pannel at the botom of the screen.
You can click on the setting logo to close or open again the menu so to browse the bottom of the scene freely.
To compare between tubes and options at a very same spot:
- click on an interactive element first. The pop-up description appears.
- then click directly into the menu instead of closing the description pop-up. (menu must be already opened)
This simulator is not the actual rendering of our tubes but is made as close as possible to the reality of a night vision device. The purpose here is to show performance gap from our whole product range and get a better understanding of the most important criterias to focus on while selecting an equipment.
This doesn't intends to show a real product view but rather simulates our product performance and capabilities with different settings and in various surroundings.
DETECTION
With a strongly improved resolution and signal to noise ration, it is possible to get the highest level of detail, revealing key elements in a scene at night. Detection can be done much faster and much further. Crucial for every operator in the field, but just as crucial while driving a vehicle at night with Night Vision Goggles on, or flying a helicopter in the same conditions.
A fast response of PHOTONIS phosphors also enables a fast image building, contributing strongly to the highest performance available today.
RECOGNITION / Identification
With PHOTONIS Image Intensifier Tubes, performance leads to more than detection of possible threats. It is more important that the observer can recognize and identify at night.
This is nowadays even better covered with 4G Image Intensifier Tube that is compliant to the 4G Night Vision Performance standard. This tube provides a 40% extra range of DRI (Detection/ Recognition/ Identification) over existing tubes available on the market.
IFF system and laser targeting
Every operation is stressful, whatever the conditions. Knowing where your operators are, is crucial at all times, while undetectable for unfriendlies. PHOTONIS Image Intensifier tubes can see high in the IR spectrum, enabling the individual operator to see the IFF beacons of their team members.
With our 4G tube, its extended spectral bandwidth makes detecting most of the laser applications used in the field powerful visible, facilitating coordinated operations and targeting.

In night vision operations, it is vital to be the first to see. To insure the highest level of security for deployed operators, it is crucial that the darkest part of the operational theater could be scan the same as a lighten area to detect any potential threat.
We provide products that allow long range observation and high sensitivity in order to work at the lower light level while keeping the highest performance and amplification.
